The City of Garland is proud to offer the H2O 5K race at this year’s Live Well | Go Green Expo on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Curtis Culwell Center, 4999 Naaman Forest Blvd. The 5K is sponsored by the City of Garland Water and Stormwater Management departments to help educate the public about water conservation and pollution.
Registration for the 5K is $20 until Sept. 1 and $25 from Sept. 2-24. After the race, visit the Expo for free health screenings, seasonal vaccines, green living exhibits and giveaways. Register at GoGreenGarland.org.

Find tips for a healthy, safe and environmentally-friendly lifestyle at Garland's free Live Well | Go Green Expo! The event is set for Saturday, Sept. 24, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Curtis Culwell Center, 4999 Naaman Forest Blvd. The expo will include Healthy You and Healthy Earth exhibitors, Outdoor Fest, Stop & Learn demonstrations, Green Living exhibits, the annual H2O 5K race and much more. Recycle Row will allow event patrons to dispose of unwanted household goods, electronics, medical equipment, medications and various other items.
